Virtual Autism & Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy
Maybe you’ve always felt a little off-script. You spend hours rehearsing what to say, only to still get it “wrong.” You mask to fit in… only to feel invisible, disconnected, or completely exhausted. You notice things others don’t. You think deeply, feel intensely, and still wonder if you’re somehow doing life wrong.
This might be autism. Or ADHD. Or both (AuDHD, anyone?!).
You might be dealing with:
Masking so often you don’t know what’s authentic anymore
Burnout from constantly pushing through sensory overload and social fatigue
Trouble navigating change, routines, or unspoken social rules
Being misunderstood or labeled as “dramatic,” “rigid,” “lazy,” or “too sensitive”
Rejection sensitivity and social anxiety from years of invalidation
Feeling like your needs are “too much” or that you’re “bad at being a person”
A lifetime of being misdiagnosed, dismissed, or told “you’re just anxious” (especially if you’re a woman or AFAB)
Autism and neurodivergence don’t always look like the outdated stereotypes, most of the research was built around white cis boys. Many women, AFAB folks, and people of color were left out, leading to generations of misdiagnoses, late diagnoses, or no support at all.
How I Help
My approach is affirming, flexible, and built around your lived experience. Whether you’re late-diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or still figuring it out, therapy is a space to unmask, process burnout, and make sense of who you are underneath all the scripts and expectations.
In sessions, we might:
Explore how masking, burnout, and rejection have shaped your identity
Work on emotional regulation tools that are sensory- and ND-friendly
Navigate relationship patterns, communication challenges, or social exhaustion
Identify and advocate for your sensory needs and boundaries
Reconnect with your interests, values, and joy
You don’t need to translate yourself here. Therapy is a space where you can just exist, exactly as you are, while we build insight, skills, and a life that actually fits you. Feel free to check out my blog on neurodivergence for more information.
